Honey Mooning

  We spent our honeymoon in southern California in a condo 5 minutes walk from the beach. 

We looked at the boats in the bay, we picked up seashells on the shore, and we ate crab at Joes Crab Shack during the height of crab season. But we also went to the San Diego zoo!! 

We saw monkeys......a lot of monkeys.

The smaller wildlife was more entertaining than the larger animals that were often too far away to get a good look at. 

We fed our map to the birds and decided to try and get lost. 

The Mallard ducks were just about the only familiar things in the zoo. we found several just wandering around. (probably stealing nachos from unsuspecting zoo-goers)

There were many ferocious plant life. 

and incredibly sharp park benches???

puppy sized elephants you can hold in your hand.

Nacho stealing plants ass well as ducks. 

He's just no good when it comes to the vegetation. 

We took the sky ride all the way back to the beginning...

....and curled up to nap for the rest of the day with a short trip to collect a few more seashells.
