FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

I felt like such a kindergartner as me and my roomies prepared for our first morning of running around campus. We packed our backpacks, lunches, and complimented each other on our outfits picked especially for this morning. We made sure to take a picture as we got ready to leave just like our mommies used to every time we walked out the door to catch the stinky bus in our Elementary days.

I felt like I was in an extra large high school where my classes are incredibly far apart. I became a figurative piece of toast as each of my professors slathered what
i felt was too much intellectual butter on me. I cam home feeling swamped and in a bad need of a shower.

After the initial shock had worn off of the fact that I had a mountain of paperwork to do before morning not to mention I needed to attend several other events other than my essential classes, I made it a point to dig my self out of one hole by unpacking.

This first week has been shocking, enlightening, and all around hair raising, among other things.
But I have faith that with the help of my roomies, text books, and a large amount of popcorn I may finally stop feeling like a nun being chased by a puppy sized elephant.

  3. Just lugging those $80 books around is going to build up some abs and biceps (needed to keep ardent guys at arm's length). The chocolate and origami are essential survival tools too. Looks like you and your roomies have a handle on co-ed life. Tell Kiah "HI".
