A day in the life of a college Roomie
Having newly acquired five of the most fun roommates on this planet I felt that our little group needed to be mentioned.
I don't think I could have chosen a better group of fun loving girls who would come up with the most amazing ideas and crazy fun adventures as these guys do. It's only been two days we have already begun to make our tiny apartment the incredibly awesome home it was meant to be.
Sharing cupboard space and baking brownies is just the beginning of the fun that awaits all of us this year as we embark on our school escapade. The anticipation is fantastic.
Sitting with three of my roomies and chatting over boys, books, and things that have left impressions on our lives was not only the most epic bonding session ever, but also a wonderful moment of realization that these girls are some of the most incredible people I will ever have the privilege of knowing. Sharing and adding to their adventures will be a highlight of my life and I can't wait to get started.
As for right now our most pressing project is to become unpacked and discover just how many essentials we managed to leave at home. Toothpaste, cheese, garbage bags, books, all of these have become vitally important in the past two days and we have shared and become creative in the ways we will manage to get by until we can get to the store or return home to retrieve these unaccounted for treasures.
I can hardly wait for school to start and to find out just how much more interesting this first semester will become.

Sister of mine! You Sir have left a couple more things that are all accounted for at this house as we speak! Like your shirt and other treasures I have found lurking through my clothes pile :):). So when you get here for Daddy's birthday party and stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnd Mom says (and I quote)"Ewww no toothpaste that's gross!!"
I'm so excited for your new adventures!! So much fun! Where do you live?
ReplyDeleteOh how exciting!!!
What a great beginning. And it is going to get better and BETTER. Don't forget who loves you in Rexburg...I mean the ones over thirty years old.
