This Week
lets see what has been interesting this week....we'll start with Friday:
I was saddled with the task of babysitting my baby brother that morning while my mother went to my dear sweet cousins wedding. So I walked around in my flowery jammie pants and giggled and cooed at my new baby brother who has taken to giggling with a slight smirk on his face that seems to say " ha ha you look so dumb when you do that."
When mom returned I got dressed and brushed my hair to go with her to the luncheon for the wedding attenders. I watched as my cousin floated around in her dress of white fluff and beauty, she was gorgeous. I watched while the uncles and grandparents talked and listen in passing as the aunts gossiped and laughed. I managed to track down my counter part in crime, my other awesome cousin, and give him the hard time I had been meaning to for a while.
Later that night I wandered around the reception and played with my younger cute and fun girl cousins. They were all so excited to be wearing such cute dresses for the wedding. My cousin in law with some help from the brides brothers kidnapped the groom and had the bride go around asking for money to get him back. It was incredibly funny to watch her go around singing I'm a little teapot and hopping on one foot to earn a little cash.
At last at the end of the reception after bringing home a lot of cake and a beautiful bouquet I was about to crash. Then my parents decided to go out with my aunt and uncle and leave me with the kids. It was fun to have all the cousins at our house. They mostly stayed glued to the WII while I stayed up stairs and made sure the two younger ones where ok sleeping on the couches.
Finally I was able to get out of my dress and hang out in my jammies with Baby brother once I had shut up the house. All in all it was a long day full of mixed feelings, over the wedding and family craziness.
Saturday:
I went to pick up Kate, who was back from being out of town. we went cruising to the library and then we stopped to go and eat some yummy bread at a cute little cafe down town. It was super fun to walk around in my new cute sun dress that I had bought earlier that week. I had gone shopping on my own and found it deeply satisfying to pick out and try on what I wanted to when I wanted to and decided whether or not to get it.
after we had snacked and enjoyed the sun we headed back to my house to make some super yummy danish dessert. It is incredibly and most amazingly delicious. We loved wearing the aprons and dancing around the kitchen as we listened to George Winston's piano music.
she had to go home before we could bake it but I promised to bring some to her that night when we got together to watch a mushy chick flick.
When we got together that night her dad let me drive me and her around in their super cute and classy 1929 Mercedes Benz replica. It was the most fun I've had in a long time. We drove to where our friends where playing Frisbee and showed it off. We honked the horn and had a blast. Then we returned to settle down and eat more danish while we drooled over some good looking guy on her TV screen.Sunday was nice, I went to my new ward for the second time and I've come to like my YW's leaders. the rest of that day I spent reading but I was trying to find a place that I could read and not be bothered. I didn't want to be in my dark hole of a room that has not windows so I went searching for a better hiding place in my busy house. Finally I discovered that laying down in the back of our pick up is an excellent place to hide and read with out have to be inside or out in the open. I tried the trampoline but I felt oddly exposed since we now have a considerable amount of apartments behind us.
Finally today:
I woke to my pitch dark room from a slightly creepy dream about a little girl ghost who's cute sweet voice was strangely evil. So I flipped on the light and went to get a glass of water. It was 7:30 and nobody in the house was up so I returned to my room to read some more and fell asleep until 10:30.
I joined Kate around noon to help her rearrange her room. It took skill and some serious muscles on our part to move her incredibly solid bed and dismantle a strangely put together desk. But when we were done she had more space and a considerably more organized living space.
I've decided to maybe replace the posters I have in my room with some neat old movie posters instead. Also maybe some Broadway musical posters as well. I've become increasingly involved with the classics and culture.
we shall see what tomorrow brings. :)

Wow you wrote all of that and nobody commented you except me that's sad
