LOTS TO TELL!

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! ok my week was nuts and I super sorry that I didn't get a post out til now. sheesh way too much to handle so you guys got pushed to the back of the line but do not fret I have the entire week laid out neat and nice for you all. but before I start I just want to say that I feel like I'm dumping my life on you guys to be honest I'm not sure why you read this so I'm going to start putting up some useful things every once in a while. maybe a recipe maybe some pictures as well. and I'll be posting my art work on the side bar you'll have to tell me what you think. orchids and roses to all of you who read this anyway and please leave me comments and questions I'd love to answer them and if you have any suggestions please let me know. any way so moving on to picking up where I left off.

Saturday last week:

I spent the whole day cleaning in my PJ's. I cleaned and organized my room. ( which did little good. it only exploded on me later during the week. am I the only one this happens to? I mean really.) I swept and mopped the kitchen while rocking out to my favorite music by Heart( yes an 80's band, yes they are cool :) ) But anyway most of my day was spent cleaning. I got a good nap in there somewhere and then had a blast baby sitting with my cousin. we had a good time it's been a long time since I've had a long good talk with him like we used to. but that's what happens when you don't see each other for three years.

Sunday last week:

it was a good day, watching karate kid with all your siblings and parents crammed on to one bed can be one of the best family experience's ever let me tell you.

Monday:

School, boring, lame, you get the picture. Play practice was fun though. the camaraderie that develops between us actors is so fun. It's one of the best ways to develop friends.

Tuesday:

we ran through the blocking of the play in " fast forward mode". that has got to be the most fun thing I've done in a long time! talking as fast as you can through your lines and giving it the energy of just being goofy and having fun is so fun we had to stop several times just because we were all laughing so hard. That night I dressed up for mutual as a princess with my silver dress, tennis shoes, and cow boy hat. i figure a princess can dress in what ever she wants when ever she wants. the rest of the girls and I decorated crowns and ate cup cakes and just had an all around good time.

Wednesday:

we finished the blocking for the play Finlay. yay! OK and this was so very lame. i was pulled out of choir to take an ISAT! and I absolutely hate those tests. so that part of the day was a bummer.

Thursday:

I got to go see the eye doctor and then skip English and go to lunch with my mom. we had steak at Sizzlers that was sooooo super good. we both ate way too much and both had a wonderful day. I also discovered that I am the know it all of the world history class. I can't help it I love to study the culture of the past empires, Rome, Greece, Egypt, the Renaissance it's all so interesting i love it. so when your teacher gives me kind of the brush over of the very basic things I can't help but know all the answers already. I don't try to be a know it all but when know one else knows the answer it's hard not to raise your hand.

Friday:

I missed my choir practice that morning and had to face the wrath of my section later that day. it wasn't so bad. My math teacher handed me a huge math packet! and then the ominous announcement of a test on Tuesday. dun dun dun. Choir was incredible our choir director imparted to us his wisdom of being a well accomplished musician and singer. it was amassing but the gist of what he was trying to get across is that music speaks to everyone no matter what language they speak of what they are feeling music reaches everyone right to there very being. and that we can make anyone feel anything just though what and how we sing and he is entrusting us with this power not to abuse it but to become privileged bearers of a universal language. i have never had a more deep not to mention spiritual experience in a class room other than seminary. it was life changing. also we began watching " the Newsies" in US history and I think it is the coolest thing. Everyone groaned when they realized it was a musical but I absolutely loved it. Who doesn't want a world where we all burst into song and dance? Didn't I just get done talking about how music is so powerful. I think our lives need theme music. Anyway after school I got to spend so quality time with my grand parents we ate fish and looked at pictures. My amazing grandma an d i got to talk about different aspects of art and how no matter how good an artist you are you can always try new styles and mediums to learn more. and then we went and picked up my friend Tessica since she had decided to come down for the weekend. And let me tell you that totally made my life right there . and i will tell you all about our crazy adventure of a weekend next time.
