Come on America

So to day smack in the middle of English the teacher hands out this paper to all of us that we're supposed to take home to our parents about how to " prevent an epidemic" so it lists all the basic rules like : wash your hands, don't share food, etc, etc, etc. you know the usual stuff that we all just forget about because we don't care. but with the "big thing" about swine flu going around the board finds it necessary to remind us all to be clean and stay home if your sick. personally I don't see what the big deal is. if any one wants to explain more fully your welcome to but honestly people. Is that flu really that bad or are we just trying to scare us students into bathing and just all around improving our hygiene. ( don't get me wrong that would be an incredible blessing to everyone ) but still. I think the world has bigger problems then a flu bug going around. like starving countries, and debt, not to mention the horror stories of the crimes, drug use, and other scary things people get away with. I know this an opinionated post and if you feel I'm wrong in anyway please let me know because I know I don't know everything but still people, really? are we really freaking out about this? funny how Swine flu is " big" enough to put a notice about it in our school, but our national debt gets not only blamed on our presidents but also put on the shoulders of a man who didn't give us the debt, but we expect him to fix it. we're a country, notice A country. that means one, or unity, don't you think we should be together on this? It's truly frightening what our world has stooped to. I think it's time to raise the bar. united we stand Divied we run amuck, fight, and finally fall. I hope some day America will rise to what it's cracked up to be.
