lazy day today...

yep after getting all the business that needed done,done, it was a slow drawn out summer afternoon. we went swimming at the lake today and afterwards I just didn't want to get out of my suit it was too comfortable. so I layed out on the tramp and pretended I could tan and sang to myself. and since then it's been: wander around the house in bare feet with a T- shirt and shorts, and avoiding looking in the mirror as long as possible. ever had one of the those days that you just could careless what you look like as long as your comfortable? squishing around the mud in the garden, spreading out with my book and a blow of razberries. today has just been a lazy day. Have you ever really felt the green grass between your toes or watched the water snail you found at the lake make a dead bolt for the water at the speed only a snail can master. try smeering sand around your legs and inbetween your fingers. or finding the perfect red rock just deep enough in the water that you can only reach it by reaching far enough down that you touch your nose to the cold surface of the lake. Have you ever found peace in watching the the water lap at the shore brushing the sand away in front of your toes as you stay just out of reach. or watched mesmerized as the sun glints off the surface of the rippling water making it sparkle and dance like magic. the sun warmed wind brushes your hair across your face and winds around you to warm just the right places..... today was beautiful.....
