dun dun dun.......

ok where did I leave you guys..... oh yes ....then Joey had an idea....
" Would you look at that." the cat grinned showing all it's pointy teeth. " caught in a corner. HA! it was too easy. " Joey watched as the cat lay down in front of him and raised it's paw to pick him up. as the claws began to close around him he timidley squeaked " Wait...." The cat drew her paw back a little bit to look at him and gave him a questioning look. " I ... I ... I know a secret." He whispered. I went up and put his tiny paws on the cats nose. He looked around to see if any one else would hear what he was about to tell the cat and then whispered " If you don't eat me I'll ..... " He beconed the cat closer Just as Joey had hoped the cat was intriuged. He acted as though he was going walk around to the cats ear to finish telling the secret. As he expected the cat lowered its ear closer when it was just close enough Joey took a big bight out of it. the cat reared back yowling in pain. then joey took off down the dark hallway heading back to his mouse hole. the cat had recovered and was now in hot persute the small hole in the door to the room where he lived was just ahead.He raced towards it. just as he dove through the whole the cat caught a hold of his tale and pulled. joey found himself flying backwards he caught hold of the door determinded not to go back out into the hall. just then the end of his tale snapped off and Joey went flying He rolled across the carpet. when he had recoverd from his fall the stood and turned back to see the cat with it's head stuck in the small whole Joey had come through. the cat yowled stuck fast joey went back to his soft warm bed Haveing escaped by the skin of his tail he was pretty proud of himself. the cat eventually managed to get it's head unstuck and left to find food else where. Joey was safe. .....for the time being....
